September 2015 Meeting Minutes

Here are the meeting minutes from the September gathering held at 1:30pm on September 20, 2015 at VFW Post 2514 in New Bern.
We would like to thank everyone in the VFW Post 2514 for allowing us to come into their establishment and have a homebrew!

Oktoberfest will be at Dennis Overby’s house on Sunday October 25.
We discussed Friday Night Flights at Clawson’s and what a great time we always have.
Treasurer’s Report for CCBO and Club Finances Reports went around.
Bryan and Tim met with an attorney to finish up the non-profit status and incorporation.
Elections were discussed and the decision made to post the polls onlin so that everyone will have the ability to vote. This will hopefully allow people to voice their opinions even if they cannot make the monthly meetings. Nominations are closed though and they are:
President: Bryan Conway, Tim Dryden.
Vice President: Tim Dryden, Jason Stone, Luke Dobbs.
Treasurer: Dawn Jones.
Secretary: Chris White, Tim Dryden, Jason Stone, Bryan Conway.
Webmeister: Rob Jones
BrewDurham cancelled this year due to lack of participation for the entire event.
We are putting on a brewing demonstration/membership drive at Brewery 99 during the Mumfest on October 10, Jo Ellen, Bryan and Jeremy plan to be there. Come on out.
Scoring sheets were tallied to see who is brewer of the month. Verdict: Bryan Conway and his Oyster Stout.
